Impact Outdoors Fuels the Launch of the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Youth Archery Club

The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District is proud to announce the launch of the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Youth Archery Club, a new program bringing the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) to local students. Thanks to the generous support of Impact Outdoors, this initiative is off to a strong start, providing students with opportunities to develop skills like focus, discipline and sportsmanship in a safe and inclusive environment.

Impact Outdoors’ donation has been instrumental in equipping the club with essential resources, including archery equipment and safety gear. Their commitment to fostering outdoor activities and youth development ensures that the program will not only introduce students to the sport but also inspire teamwork, community engagement and conservation efforts.

The GR Youth Archery Club is more than an extracurricular activity—it’s a chance to build character and create meaningful connections between students and the broader community. Impact Outdoors’ support sets the stage for continued success, enabling students to participate in competitions and learn valuable life skills through the program.

The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District extends a heartfelt thanks to Impact Outdoors for their dedication to empowering young archers and investing in the future of our students. With their help, this program is making a lasting impact on the lives of our youth.

Equipment School Donation

Impact Outdoors donated 40 poles, tackle boxes and tackle to this class for this school.

“I was informed about Impact Outdoors through my Parents. They attend banquets that help support their cause. I took my daughter to the Impact Outdoors Family Day at George Wyth and found that they want kids involved in outdoor activities. This was great, because I have a fish unit where we learn about classifying the fish of Iowa. To make this unit more applicable to real life scenarios I wanted to take the students fishing. Impact Outdoors was very helpful in getting us the equipment to take 40 students fishing. Some were very experienced fishermen and some were very new to the experience. All the students had fun and most were able to catch some fish. We invited parents to attend so they could fish with their students. It became a fun family adventure for some. Applying science to the real world is a very big goal of mine and Impact Outdoors was able to make that a success with their contribution. Thank you for your donation and the impact you have made on our students.”

2024 Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day 2024 was a huge success! We had an estimated turnout of 700 adults and children. Everyone enjoyed a variety of activities including fishing, kayaking, the shooting range, birdhouse and rock painting, face painting, a bounce house and free hotdogs. The freshly cooked Walleye, courtesy of the Cedar Valley Walleye Club, was also a hit. The first 300 kids received free fishing poles, adding to the excitement of the day.
